Hong Kong garment sourcing & production management

Between the brandand the factory. One accountable partner.

Nine Yards develops products and manages sourcing, sampling, partner-factory production, quality coordination, packaging, documentation and shipment — so your team works with one Hong Kong contact instead of five.

The gap we close

Design is rarely the problem. The handoffs are.

Time is lost between the brief and the factory floor — chasing swatch approvals, reconciling measurements, translating a comment into a production instruction. One red thread runs through a Nine Yards programme, and one team holds it.

How we work

Six stages,one owner.

The red thread runs from the first brief to the moment goods leave. Every stage has a named owner and a written record.

See what each stage covers
  1. 01

    Brief & commercial alignment

We review the product, target market, quantities by colour and delivery window, then confirm what is realistic before anything moves.

  2. 02

    Material & factory matching

Fabric, trims and construction are matched to the brief, and the programme is placed with the partner factory best suited to it.

  3. 03

    Development & sampling

Protos and fit samples are developed and refined against your specification until the product reads correctly.

  4. 04

    Pre-production approval

Materials, sealed samples where applicable and agreed acceptance criteria are documented and signed off before bulk starts.

  5. 05

    Production & quality coordination

We track progress at the partner factory, run the checkpoints agreed for the programme, and keep you informed as bulk runs.

  6. 06

    Packing, documentation & shipment

Packing, labelling, export documentation and shipment are coordinated so goods leave in the agreed condition and format.

A Brar Group HK business

Built on Brar Group HK’s textile expertise since 1999. Nine Yards is a legally recognized business unit of Brar Group (H.K.) Ltd. — a separate customer-facing business from the group’s shirting-fabric operation, using the same Hong Kong infrastructure, textile knowledge and international relationships.

About Nine Yards

Decades of shirting-fabric work inform how we specify cloth, construction and finish.
Hong Kong coordination
A single team in Hong Kong sits between your brief and the partner factory.
International relationships
Built on Brar Group HK's international textile relationships across many markets.

Nine Yards does not own factories. We develop product and manage independent partner factories on your behalf.
