This notice explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you send us through the Nine Yards website. Nine Yards is a business unit of Brar Group (H.K.) Ltd., Hong Kong.
What we collect
When you submit a sourcing enquiry through this website, we collect the information you enter in the form: your name, company, work email address, buyer type, target market, product category, estimated quantity, required delivery window, project stage and the details of your brief. We also record the date and time the enquiry was submitted.
We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any special category personal data through this website.
Why we collect it
We use this information for one purpose: to read, assess and respond to your sourcing enquiry, and to continue the commercial conversation if you want us to. That includes checking feasibility internally and preparing an answer for you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who can see it
Access is limited to Nine Yards personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry, and to the service providers who host our website and database on our behalf. Those providers process the data under their own security controls and only to provide the service to us.
We do not share your enquiry with partner factories or suppliers unless you ask us to progress your programme and it is necessary to do so.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries for as long as necessary to respond and to maintain a record of the commercial conversation. Where an enquiry does not lead to work and there is no reason to keep it, we delete it.
Security
Enquiries are stored in a hosted database with access controls in place, and the website is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential technical files or commercially sensitive documents through the enquiry form; ask us and we will agree a suitable method.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action reasonable requests.
